Love this book of Akademie x lesson s in art & life - here's a good one I can relate to mainly from my twenties (photo ) and a good lesson about stamina by Sanford Biggers. Also said " to succeed and survive as an artist one must develop serious perseverance , strength of character, an unshakable work ethic and confidence. Artistic trends , attitudes and appreciation change frequently , so you must be able to see beyond the successes and failures you may experience. Understanding where you are in a relationship with other artists is useful ; how ever, do not allow this to turn into envy or self doubt" #art #artists #lessons #akademie #SanfordBiggers #thankyou

The institutional, clinical images are going to be used as a vage guide to how I wish to transform one of the rooms, and specific walls and windows at the Queen of Bradgate. Central to this will be 'The discussion recordings" , "mirrored monitors showing footage of the building and past, musical happenings by selected local artists , aswell as the physical , walk through maze I'm developing , created by the old warn 70s flooring and wooden pictureless frames and found items "the building throws up". Really Looking forward to the arranged tutorias with the brilliant artist and lecturer Anna Lucas over the coming months. Very lucky to have her to talk about this research and development project.! Also spending a week working in London and working at a few gallery's aswell as doing my course at Lux, studios in field recording.
