PART two: A LOCAL VOICE. (collective sculpture/austerity today project) 2 QUEENS PROJECT SPACe.8/6/2017 Really good weekend with the Collective Sculpture project. Great feedback. Looking forward to my first day off in weeks today before the final leg to produce catalogue and edit all the footage and recorded sounds for a one day exclusive installation at Summer Art Thread on 26th August at LCB Depot. This work hopes to bring my research, my studio practice and these happenings into one room. Seriously, THANK YOU to Tove Noorjahaan Dalenius, Jodi Shadforth, Courtney Askey, Sarah Campbell, Jimi Jenga and Craig Ashenden for your time and work on this part of the project and huge THANK YOU to everyone who took part - many even travelled in the rain and got taxis. Thankyou to everyone who has also supported this work at Two Queens with space, feedback and rehearsal time at the crits (massive vital support network for artists in Leicester!). Special thank you to Denny the dog (our radio miked up bundle of bubble-chasing joy). Today we had tea and cake at the front in the sun before starting. Oscar (Labrador) came also which was a nice surprise. (click on small images to enlarge) (click on small images to enlarge) Tove hard at work uploading from all the memory cards
