Scotland's Home Movies Also shows a film my dad worked on with young people in the 70s & the huge community involved event with art, music & theatre put together by The Crag Millar Festival
This is a really really great investigation in to old films that documented community, young people and the way we used to live - its beautifully put together. Also shows a film my dad worked on with young people. Also speaks of, which i didn't know, a little of The Crag Millar Festival - at that time in south Edinburgh in the 70 s - when people were living in extreme poverty and hardship Crag Millar was putting on one of the largest festivals in the world- where the local community got together to show art, music and theatre. Snippets from the project my Dad worked on 'Oor Wullie' and The Crag Millar festival is at 49:00 .
Ill be showing the full film ( 'Oor Wullie' ) as part of my investigation in this years Summer Art Trail at the Queen of Bradgate. Not this week end the weekend after.
